The Time Jumpers to join Vince Gill onstage here

photo The annual "A Song for the Children" concert Oct. 26 will feature Vince Gill along with The Time Jumpers, a group composed of veteran Nashville session players.

Vince Gill has added The Time Jumpers band to the lineup for his annual benefit concert, "A Song for the Children," for the Children's Advocacy Center of Hamilton County on Oct. 26 at the Tivoli Theatre, 709 Broad St.

Winner of two Grammy Awards, The Time Jumpers features a lineup of veteran Nashville studio musicians. Besides Gill, the band consists of Dennis Crouch, Larry Franklin, Paul Franklin, "Ranger Doug" Green, Kenny Sears, Dawn Sears, Andy Reiss, Joe Spivey, Jeff Taylor and Billy Thomas.

They've been playing together since 1998. Individually, their careers go back further, and each has played with most of the biggest names in country music.

The show is set for 8 p.m.

Admission is $35 and $50. Tickets are available at the Memorial Auditorium box office, 399 McCallie Ave., or by calling 642-TIXS (8497).
