AUGUSTA, Ga. - A judge has sentenced to man to life and 20 years in prison for child molestation.

The Augusta Chronicle reports that Daniel Boos was sentenced Thursday after a jury convicted him on four counts of aggravated child molestation and three counts of child molestation. Boos' life sentence was imposed without the possibility of parole.

The indictment claims Boos molested a boy - who was under the age of 16 - between January and June 2010 at a home on Circular Drive and the Barnyard Flea Market located on Doug Barnyard Parkway.

The four-day trial included evidence of a 1991 conviction for aggravated child molestation while Boos was serving in Germany as an Army specialist. Boos spent 10 years in federal custody as the result of a court martial.
