Keith Stewart will now face a grand jury on a homicide charge in the shooting death of Casey Burgiss.

The case was bound over to the Hamilton County grand jury by Soddy-Daisy Judge Marty Lasley on Tuesday.

Investigators say Stewart, 19, led them to a cave on Montlake Mountain where they found the mummified body of Casey Lance Burgiss, 24.

A medical examiner's report showed Burgiss died from two gunshot wounds to the head, and he was likely on his knees when killed.

Detectives found three shell casings and one projectile at the scene.

Forensic experts identified Burgiss by a tattoo on his left forearm and dental X-rays.

Stewart remains in custody at the Hamilton County Jail on a $750,000 bond.
