Bradley County sheriff's detectives arrested five people after discovering a currency counterfeiting operation and an active methamphetamine lab in the same house.

Detectives initially searched the house at 933 Poplar St. on Oct. 18, and arrested four people after finding an active meth lab.

Danny Lee Davis, 48, Jennifer Lea Rayburn Standifer, 34, Pansy Rennee Beard, 33, and Thomas James Wilson, 28, were arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and starting to manufacture meth.

Detectives also found multiple counterfeit $100 bills, laptop computers, printers, jump drives and paper used for counterfeiting currency. Additional counterfeiting charges are expected, the sheriff's office said.

Five days after the first round of arrests, Davis, who was released on bond, returned to the house on Poplar Street - which was under a quarantine order - and entered the residence with Jimmy Joseph Newell, 36.

The pair were arrested and charged with manufacture of meth and violating quarantine. Davis was hiding in the attic when he was arrested, according to the sheriff's office.

Davis and Newell are being held without bond until their next hearing on Nov. 1.
