I AM EXPERIENCING a big dose of schadenfreude with the Scott DesJarlais controversy.

LET’S DO AWAY with the Electoral College, whose time has passed, and elect our president by direct popular vote.

OVER 311 MILLION people in the United States, and Obama and Romney are the best two we can find to run for president? Pitiful!

PEOPLE WHO depend on Social Security will lose their benefits if Romney is elected. He wants to cut it out.

UNLESS YOU are a millionaire, you should vote for Obama!

IF YOU ARE honest, you will see that the economy is beginning to improve. It took eight-plus years to ruin it!

THIS ELECTION, the choice is clear: Bigger government or a bigger economy. Obama’s policies have proven that you can’t have both.

THE SECOND Amendment to the Constitution is about fighting tyranny, not hunting deer.

EAST RIDGE residents deserve a councilperson who can comprehend, read, write and speak English.

Do away with the electoral college? But that would make Wyoming even less relevant.
