Chattanooga police are on the lookout for a man they say shot at two contractors Monday morning.

The department's SWAT Team responded to 7911 Igou Gap Road after police say Gerald Scott Rounsaville, 47, fired shots at two contractors who tried to remove some of their equipment from the property.

Officers searched the residence and surrounding area but were not able to locate Rounsaville, said police spokesman Master Patrol Officer Nathan Hartwig. A warrant on a charge of attempted murder has been issued for Rounsaville's arrest.

Police described Rounsaville as a white male, 5 feet six inches tall, 125 pounds, with short dark hair, and a clean-shaven face.

He last was seen wearing a black jacket, a gray long-sleeved shirt with stripes, and blue jeans, Hartwig said.

Anyone with information on Rounsaville's whereabouts can call the Chattanooga Police Department at 423-698-2525.
