Rants

REPUBLICANS? Hypocrites! They want no regulation of business and industry, but they do want to regulate your reproduction, religion and right to vote.

ROMNEY'S SPEECH brings back memories of Obama's speech four years ago. Without Congress' backing, neither can accomplish anything except idle talk.

QUIT NITPICKING all politicians. All you need to say is are you better off now. Obama messed up. Give Romney a chance.

UNLIKE PEOPLE on the welfare roll, we who are on Social Security and Medicare rolls have earned that right. We are not freeloaders.

FOR THOSE OF you protesting Chick-fil-A, just remember: If you want chicken, it takes a hen and a rooster.

HOW DO WE get Seidel and his religious freedom group to respect our rights and go back to Wisconsin? We don't need them here.

IF WE CHRISTIANS don't stand up for our rights, we will be persecuted for our beliefs, thus history will repeat itself.

AN NFL quarterback and his accomplices serve prison time for abusing dogs. Anyone involved in the abuse of horses should receive the same fate.

I AM TIRED of paying more and more for the privilege of watching more and more TV ads even on local news programs.

WAKE UP, Monty! Cameras don't scare people away. Red Bank is not a destination. If it weren't for Dubs there'd be a lot less traffic.

THANKS, UTC, for getting me out in four years! Said no one ever.

Nitpicking? Romney's "nits" are frightening flip-flops on virtually every important issue from the auto industry rescue to abortion to immigration to taxes. Who is he? We still don't know. Romney is deathly afraid of what Americans will think if he discloses the truth.
What do we know so far? Romney was born into privilege and could have done anything he wanted in life. The career he chose was stripping American companies of assets, firing workers, and sending the money OUT of the US. Romney hasn't an ounce of patriotism for this country.

And who is Barack Hussein Obama, moon? You assume a lot about him withouth knowing. Why is it ok for him to classify his information and not for a man who is known to pay taxes? Oh yeah right, one is a "progressive leftist" socalled liberal. The other is a conservative. What do we know? Obama was born where? He got into Columbia how? Never mind, it should be what we do know that makes us cringe about the president. But no, he gets a pass and we all know why. I will always respect his office but there are many things about him personally(what personally?)with which I am very concerned. I forgot, we can't get personal with a socalled liberal but go after those doggone conservatives. Let's total disclosure by all before we go on a tirade about the one we disagree with. Oh I forgot again, anyone who disagrees with libo-progressive-leftists, has no mind of his/her own and could not know anything about how the world is truly suppose to run. But by golly I am glad that at least at this point, we no mindeders can still vote.

L4L, I'm not assuming anything. We know the following about Barack Obama:
First, he was born in Hawaii. Those who think otherwise are rabid racists who refuse to accept either logic or the valid certificate of birth issued by the great State of Hawaii.
Second, I know that, as our duly elected President, Obama stopped a menacing depression in its tracks, rescued GM, killed Bin Laden, held BP accountable for the tragic and costly oil spill, and extended health care protection to millions -- all in the face of a nasty and disloyal opposition determined to force failure on a President of the United States.

President Obama has not brought all the change some voters hoped for, but the changes he has brought have been good for America and Americans. He’s led a pretty transparent administration in comparison to his predecessor, and doesn’t have off-shore accounts. He’s a good man who loves this country. And, he’s disclosed his tax returns, unlike Romney.
What is Romney hiding?

  1. Government small enough took fit in your bedroom.

  2. Romney had a chance. He blew it when he started lying.

  3. You really don't know how Chickens are raised in poultry factories, do you? If you died, you wouldnt be suggesting that as your model. Besides, cloning works.

  4. Your exclusionary attitude is revealed by your words. Thanks for showing that you really are about controlling others yourself. But my family has lived here long enough to predate the Civil War (another case of self-professed victims choosing to tyrannize others in a false display of hypocrisy), so I'll welcome them here, we need more people like them.

BTW, would you have told William Jennings Bryan to go home? Did you resent him? No?

  1. There' s quite a list of people who have used that rallying cry. Including many Christians. How often for justifying abuse and oppression? Quite a lot.

Just ask Mr. Scopes.

Okay... Obama hasn't cleaned up Bush's catastrophic mess-up fast enough, so let's put back in the Oval Office someone whose policies are basically Bush 2.0 and that should solve our problems? Hmm...I'm thinkin' maybe you should go back to the drawing board and come up with a rant that at least makes some sense.

And that's relevant how?? Two people, straight or gay, fall in love and decide to get married first and foremost because they want to express their love for each other in a deeply committed way. Children might or might not be a by-product of marriage. Of course gay couples cannot biologically procreate but they can adopt, and gay women can benefit from artificial insemination. Two people, regardless of sexual orientation, should be allowed to fully enjoy the rights of being married.

As for how chickens are made, I think we're all pretty clear on that little factoid of nature.

Southern chickens are made by mixing the Klan with Fred Phelps, talking serpents, and bush-whackers.

But if the hen is raped can she still lay eggs? Not according to Republican doctrine and "science."
