Myeloma meeting

The Chattanooga Multiple Myeloma Networking Group meets tonight from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Memorial Center for Cancer Support, 605 Glenwood Drive, Suite 307, in the Memorial Plaza Building next to Memorial Hospital. Autism Center open house

Chattanooga Autism Center, 1400 McCallie Ave., will hold an open house from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 2, to announce its new space, which includes an Autism Resource Library, offices, therapy room and conference room where parents and advocates meet. Mental and physical health

Christian psychiatrist Dr. Tim Jennings (Come and Reason Ministries) and cardiologist Dr. James Marcum (Heartwise Ministry) will explore the relationship between mental and physical health in a one-day seminar on Oct. 20, "Modern Medicine, Biblical Technology and the Brain," at the Chattanooga Convention Center. Hydrocephalus walk

The second annual Greater Hydrocephalus Walk will be Saturday, Oct. 27, at Coolidge Park. The 5-kilometer walk (3.1 miles) will begin at 11 a.m. Hydrocephalus is an abnormal accumulation of cerebral spinal fluid in the brain, also known as water on the brain.) Women's Health Symposium

This class provides an overview of diabetes, including treatment, prevention of complications, diabetes meal planning and carbohydrate counting.
