A 27-year-old Chattanooga man is dead after a shooting at 3412 Jones St. Tuesday night.

Chattanooga police officers discovered two victims suffering from gunshot wounds and another victim with minor abrasions from broken glass, according to a news release.

Cary Abram and a black woman were taken to a local hospital, where Abram was pronounced dead, police said.

Police were told the victims were sitting in a vehicle and smoking marijuana when unidentified individuals began shooting at them.

Cary Abram lived at the residence at the location of the shooting with his brother, Cory Abram. Both brothers were arrested in Saturday’s saturation sweep for drug possession, police said.

Tuesday night’s shooting appears to be drug/money related, police assert.

The investigation is continuing.
