Ronald Lee Pittman, Billy Bob Partin and Patrick CarmodyThree men arrested in June on murder-related charges in a 2010 home robbery have been indicted by the Hamilton County grand jury.
Billy Bob Partin, 39, and Patrick Carmody, 44, are charged with felony murder and especially aggravated robbery. Ronald Lee Pittman, 42, faces charges of facilitation of felony murder and facilitation of especially aggravated robbery in the death of 21-year-old Chance LeCroy.
Police arrested Carmody in Davidson County on June 22, one week after arresting Partin and Carmody.
LeCroy was killed in his 1211 Johnston Terrace home on Sept. 9, 2010. Pittman told investigators that he and Partin wanted to rob LeCroy's home, thinking they could get drugs and flatscreen TVs, but the crime went wrong.
Tucker King, LeCroy's roommate, told police he was sleeping on a couch when he heard a gunshot and woke to find LeCroy's body.
Pittman and Carmody are being held on $1.5 million bonds, Partin has a $2 million bond, according to court records.
All three men face arraignment in Hamilton County Criminal Court on Oct. 5.
