MARIETTA, Ga. - Marietta police say they want to speak with the driver of a black SUV they believe was in the area of a hit-and-run crash that claimed a bicyclist's life.

Police said the wreck happened at 7:43 p.m. Sunday in Marietta, just northwest of Atlanta. The 55-year-old bicyclist was taken to Kennestone Hospital, where he died.

Witnesses say the cyclist was struck by a vehicle described as a black SUV. Marietta police late Sunday night released surveillance images of the car, and said they were hoping to speak with its driver.

Police say the driver and two children were seen leaving a showing of the film "Croods" at the NCG Cinema immediately before the accident. They also released a picture of the three people from surveillance cameras in a movie theater hallway.
