Chattanooga: Police investigate shooting that leaves one wounded

Chattanooga police are investigating a shooting that took place Friday afternoon in the 5200 block of Woodland View Circle which left a 16-year-old wounded.

The teen was taken to a local hospital. He suffered non-life threatening injuries, said Master Patrol Officer Nathan Hartwig in a released statement.

The gunman reportedly fired a shot at the teen who was outside and then fled the area in a car just after 5 p.m.
