Chattanooga police officer denied reinstatement

A City Council panel voted 2-1 this morning to deny former Chattanooga Police Department Officer Mickel Hoback his job back.

Hoback had appealed his 2009 firing from the force.

Councilmembers Carol Berz and Sally Robinson voted to deny reinstatement, while Andrae McGary voted to give the officer his job back.
