Gerald Kirtney GunterGerald Kirtney Gunter, 63, of Pisgah, Ala., was arrested Tuesday by the Jackson County (Ala.) Sheriff's Office on drug charges.
Carrying out a search warrant on Alabama Highway 71 in Pisgah led to Gunter being charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance x 3 (alprazolam, diazepam, and clonazepam), possession of marijuana second degree, possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal possession of prescription drugs.
He also was held for a motion to revoke bond because he was out on bond from a previous drug arrest on Jan. 17, 2013, for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
Gunter is being held at the Jackson County Jail pending a bond revocation hearing, a news release said.
