Chattanooga area high school standouts for April 9

• Sloan Sullivan, Ooltewah: She was 4-for-4 with two doubles and three RBIs as the Lady Owls defeated Bradley Central 14-2 in a six-inning District 5-AAA softball game.

• Shaliyah Geathers, East Hamilton: She was 3-for-3 with a home run and drove in three runs in the Lady Hurricanes' 15-5 six-inning District 6-AA win over East Ridge.

• Alexandra Smith, Grace Academy: She went 3-for-5 with the winning three-run home run in the ninth inning of the Laldy Golden Eagles' 7-4 win over Silverdale.

• Sidney Hooper, Walker Valley: She pitched a four-hitter with nine strikeouts and went 3-for-4 with three runs scored in a 9-2 defeat of Meigs County.

• Hannah Triplett, Polk County: The freshman was 4-for-4 and batted in five runs as the Lady Wildcats beat McMinn Central 14-0 in five innings.

• Cassidy Hackney, Soddy-Daisy: She went 2-for-2 with a triple, four RBIs and two runs scored as the Lady Trojans beat Cleveland 14-2.

• Payton Carlton, Sequatchie County: She was 3-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs scored in an 11-1 victory over Grundy County.

• Liana Rodrigues, Arts & Sciences: She went 2-for-2 with four RBIs and two runs scored in the Lady Patriots' four-inning 16-1 win over Notre Dame.

• Spencer Mossburg, Silverdale Baptist Academy: He pitched a five-inning two-hitter with eight strikeouts as the Seahawks beat Arts & Sciences 12-0 in a District 5-A baseball game. He also went 4-for-4 with a homer and two doubles, drove in three runs and scored two.

• Kevin Dupree, Ooltewah: He was 3-for-3 with a homer, two triples and five RBIs as the Owls beat Cleveland 13-3 in a District 5-AAA matchup.

• Slade Dale, Ringgold: He went 3-for-3 with two home runs, a double and six RBIs as the Tigers pummeled Gordon Central 17-2.

• Wade Terrell, Northwest Whitfield: He was 4-for-4 with two doubles and three RBIs in the Bruins' 12-2 subregion win over Dalton.

• Gage Frady, Bledsoe County: He was 3-for-4 with a home run and double in the Warriors' 7-5 District 7-AA victory over Grundy County.

• Alex Pruitt, Hixson: He was 3-for-4, drove in three runs and scored three as the Wildcats defeated East Ridge 12-2 in a District 6-AA game.

• Bryson Baker, Meigs County: He went 3-for-6 and had four RBIs when the Tigers beat Sweetwater 17-5 in a District 5-AA game.

• Hunter Parker, East Hamilton: He was 2-for-3, drove in two runs, scored three and had four stolen bases in the Hurricanes' 20-13 District 6-AA win over Tyner.

• Jesse Owens, Whitwell: He pitched a no-hitter with 13 strikeouts and went 2-for-3 and scored twice in an 11-2 win over Lookout Valley.

• Alex Pruett, Hixson: He was 3-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs in the Wildcats' 12-2 defeat of East Ridge.

• Nick Chambers, Notre Dame: He was the winning pitcher with 11 strikeouts and drove in two runs in the Irish's 6-0 blanking of Signal Mountain.

• Rance Harden, Boyd-Buchanan: He went 3-for-4 with three doubles, four RBIs and three runs scored as the Buccaneers beat Copper Basin 18-4 in a five-inning District 5-A game.

• Darwin Lom, Calhoun: He scored three goals in the undefeated Yellow Jackets' 7-0 soccer win over Morris Innovative.

• Trey Tucker, Ooltewah: His two goals, both from Laudy Franco assists, were the difference in the Owls' 2-1 soccer win over McMinn County.

• David Ingram, Caleb Antwine, Boyd-Buchanan: They each had two goals in the Bucs' 5-0 soccer win over Sweetwater.
