Some streets in Chattanooga closed for special events

A number of streets will be closed in Chattanooga over the next couple of days for special events:

The 300 block of Broad Street's southbound lanes will be closed from 7 a.m. on Thursday and the northbound lanes will be shut down as of 1 p.m. Thursday. This will be for the '42' movie premiere. All lanes will reopen at 11 p.m.

Reggie White Boulevard will be closed from just south of the entrance to the north parking lot of Finley Stadium to West 19th Street from 8 a.m. on Thursday through noon on Monday, April 15, for the Four Bridges Arts Festival.

West 14th Street, between Market Street and Cowart Street, Cowart Street, between West 14th Street and Main Street, Main Street, between Cowart Street and Rossville Avenue, and Rossville Avenue from Washington Street to Adams Street will be the route for the Art Car Parade on Saturday. Line-up will begin on West 14th Street at 9 a.m. with the parade ending at noon. This will be a police escorted motorcade and these streets will not be closed but motorists may expect delays in these areas.
