Baylor senior guard Clay Born will sign a letter of intent to continue his basketball career at Sewanee, a NCAA Division III school.

His brother Leo was a Sewanee freshman this season and started a couple of games for the Tigers.

The Younger Born averaged 12 points, four assists and two steals per game for the Red Raiders and was the team's best shooter. The team has gone 29-22 over the past two seasons, which were both ended by Briarcrest Christian -- in the Division II-AA state semifinals and then the quarterfinals.

Briarcrest was state runner-up both seasons.

"I think that Sewanee is a really good fit for him, as well as Leo," Baylor coach Austin Clark said. "They run a bunch of Princeton sets like we do here, which creates shots, and Clay is an excellent shooter."

Sewanee finished 17-9 this past season, and the Tigers' Bubba Smith was named the Southern Athletic Association coach of the year.

"Clay and Leo are two of the greatest competitors. It must be a family trait," Clark said. "They were both a pleasure to coach."
