Chair-ries Jubilee, a party that raises funds for arts in education programs, will be held Friday, April 12, at the Museum Center at Five Points, 200 East Inman St., in Cleveland, Tenn. The Allied Arts Council of the Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce presents the annual showcase of visual and culinary arts.

The evening will focus on an auction of artworks, but the culinary creations make Chair-ries Jubilee an event within an event.

"It really is an aspect of Chair-ries Jubilee that is worth the price of admission," says co-chair Beth Gardner.

The theme for the 16th annual event is "3D: Designate, Donate, Decorate," but organizers say there's also an emphasis on "Delectable, Delicious and Delightful" from the caterers, who present their own version of art during the 6 p.m. social hour and silent auction.

"Some of the best chefs and caterers in the region are returning to Chair-ries Jubilee," said Cindy Baker, co-chair for the caterers. "Guests will have an opportunity to taste a variety of delicious foods as they walk among the auction items and bid on their favorite pieces."

Participating are Café Roma, The Catering Connection, CBC-Cleveland, Cleveland Country Club, Impressions Catering, Pam's Florist and Catering, Ray's Catering and Romaine on the Go.

The live auction, featuring David Carroll as auctioneer, is set for 8 p.m.

Tickets, available at the Chamber of Commerce, 225 Keith St., S.W., and The Red Ribbon, 223 East Inman St., are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.
