The Red Bank Police Department has announced its arrest of a suspect in armed robberies of local pharmacies, including that of the Rite Aid Pharmacy at 4038 Dayton Blvd. on March 15.

Jason T. Fowler, 38, of 5118B Eldridge Road, Chattanooga, has been charged with two counts of aggravated robbery, DUI, possession of a controlled substance for resale and possession of a weapon in the commission of a felony.

Fowler is being held in the Hamilton County Jail pending bond.

The release said officers discovered evidence associated with a series of armed robberies of pharmacies in Red Bank and Chattanooga in the past month.
