Alcantra, Bour pace 8-6, Smokies win

Arismendy Alcantara and Justin Bour drove in three runs apiece as the Tennessee Smokies beat Chattanooga 8-6 in Southern League baseball Saturday evening in Kodak, Tenn.

Rubi Silva added two RBIs as the Smokies squared the series at two wins each.

The Lookouts (3-6) trailed 8-1 entering the seventh inning, when Yasiel Puig hit a three-run home run to center field. Puig went 2-for-5 and is hitting .414 for the season. Chattanooga got within two runs in the eighth inning on an RBI double to right by Miguel Rojas and an RBI triple to center by Bobby Coyle.

The finale of the five-game series is today at 2. Onelki Garcia (0-0, 2.25 ERA) is the scheduled starting pitcher for the Lookouts, with Dae-Eun Rhee (0-0, 2.08) listed for the Smokies.
