Rants

CORRUPTION: Mayor Littlefield, on his last day in office gives a "sweetheart" make-believe job to Anita Ebersole at $98k+ at the citizens' expense.

I WAITED 1 hour, 35 minutes to see a doctor. A sign posted read "If you are 30 minutes late reschedule your appointment." What arrogance!

BOB AND CHUCK, can you explain how our intelligent elected officials go to Washington and turn into blooming idiots?

WHEN THE government becomes your daddy, the gangs become your mama.

TENNESSEE LEGISLATURE fails to arm priests and ministers after a shooting outside a church. Are they waiting for NRA approval?

GEORGIA WANTS Tennessee's water. No! Why is this our problem? It isn't.

WHY DON'T WE sell water to Georgia? Because it's not our water; it's God's water. If Georgia pays for the pipeline, we should share.

WE'RE ASKED to conserve water, yet we're "price penalized" for less usage. Makes you want to run the faucet just for the fun of it!

ALL THOSE candidates that called my house phone before the election, guess what? I didn't vote for you.

NEARLY HALF of children are illegitimate and marriage rates are dropping fast, leading to poverty, poor education and public assistance. We're worried about gay marriage?

I have a solution to this Georgia water grab problem. Topo map shows a former river valley just to the west of Lake Nickajack. Judicious use of a little dynamite and voila! The river changes course and is all in Tennessee even if they change the border. Excuse me while I buy some future river-front property.
