ATLANTA - Relatives of a rapper who was fatally shot inside a luxury car on Interstate 20 near Atlanta are offering a $10,000 reward for information in the case.

Police spokeswoman Mekka Parish says 41-year-old James D. Lewiel died after being shot inside of a black Maybach sedan in DeKalb County, near Atlanta's eastern edge, on April 11. Lewiel, who divided his time between metro Atlanta and south Florida, is a rapper also known as OG Double D.

Witnesses told investigators the shots were fired from a white SUV. No arrests have been made.

Lewiel's brother, Pilar, tells The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that the rapper "didn't have any beefs with anyone." He said his brother had visited South DeKalb Mall the day he was killed and family members think he was followed from the mall.
