Red Bank police offering $1,000 reward in drive-by shooting case

The Red Bank Police Department is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and indictment of those involved in two drive-by shootings Monday night, according to a news release.

Police Chief Tim Christol said in the release he hopes the reward will help solve the case quickly.

"I have full confidence that our investigation will lead to the conviction of whoever perpetrated this crime," he said, "but it is my hope and expectation that this reward will speed up our investigation."

Officers responding to a shots-fired call in the area of Morrison Springs Road and U.S. Highway 27 found a vehicle that had been struck three times by bullets.

Witnesses said a black, four-door sedan left the area on Morrison Springs Road and turned north onto McCahill Road.

Soon after, officers were notified of a car crash in the 4400 block of McCahill Road, the release stated.

The driver, 18-year old Teddi Robinson, of Spring Valley Lane, suffered a gunshot would and was taken to a local hospital, where she is still recovering.

No one in the vehicle struck by bullets on Morrison Springs Road was injured.
