Chattanooga police seek man who shot girlfriend

Chattanooga police are looking for a man who they say shot his ex-girlfriend Wednesday night.

Officers filed warrants against 38-year-old Chaston Leodis Cross on Thursday for attempted murder, aggravated assault and reckless endangerment. Police say he shot Tiffany Roberts, 23, in the shoulder around 9:45 p.m. at 1524 E. 26th St., outside BJ’s Puss N Boots.

By the time police arrived on the scene, Cross was gone. Paramedics drove Roberts to Erlanger to treat her injuries, which were not life-threatening.

Anyone with information about Cross’ whereabouts can call Chattanooga police at 423-698-2525 or Crime Stoppers at 423-698-3333.
