Lee University to present Mozart's Requiem

The Lee University Choral Union and Symphony Orchestra will present Mozart's Requiem, one of the most influential and recognizable works in all of classical repertoire, in a concert Saturday, April 20. The performance will start at 7:30 p.m. in Conn Center on the Cleveland, Tenn., campus.

The concert will be conducted by Dr. Cameron F. LaBarr, assistant professor of choral music at Lee. The orchestra will be prepared by Maestro Robert Bernhardt, conductor of the Lee University Symphony Orchestra and music director emeritus of the Chattanooga Symphony & Opera.

The work also will include Lee University faculty soloists Loralee Songer (soprano), Andrea Dismukes (mezzo-soprano), James Frost (tenor) and Tony Deaton (baritone).

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for seniors and students. They are available from the Dixon Center box office, which is open 3-6 p.m. weekdays.
