Graves, Podhorn join Hutton

Hutton Co. has added Kimberly Graves as senior paralegal and Rachel Podhorn as property accounting manager.

Graves graduated magna cum laude from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She is also a certified paralegal.

Podhorn graduated cum laude from Virginia Wesleyan College with a bachelor of arts in mathematics.

She has joined the accounting team as the property accounting manager and will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounting for Hutton's growing portfolio of properties.


Boehm Center picks Martin

The Walter E. Boehm Birth Defects Center has chosen Erin R. Martin as nurse practitioner and clinical care coordinator.

Martin recently graduated from Southern Adventist University.

Before joining the center, she worked as a nurse with a focus on neuroscience at Siskin Hospital for Physical Rehabilitation and at Vanderbilt University. Founded in 1963, The Boehm Center is a nonprofit organization that provides comprehensive, multi-disciplinary medical services for children born with congenital birth defects of the central nervous system, including spina bifida and hydrocephalus.


UBS Financial promotes three

UBS Financial Services has promoted three financial advisers, Douglas A. Brown, Robert L. Donina Jr., and Edward C. O'Brien III, in Chattanooga to first vice president-wealth management, said Jeff Cronan, branch manager.

Brown is a financial adviser with the Brown Ingle Group and has over 27 years of experience in the financial industry. He will mark his 25-year anniversary with UBS in May.

Donina is a financial adviser with The Donina Group at UBS and has over 19 years of experience in the financial industry.

O'Brien is a financial adviser with T3 Financial Group and has over 17 years of experience in the financial industry.


Energy programs launched

Two statewide energy programs -- the Tennessee Energy Education Initiative and the Qualified Energy Conversation Bond Program -- were launched during a Tennessee Renewable Energy and Economic Development Council meeting.

Both programs are designed to help Tennessee organizations become more energy efficient and increase the use of renewable energy to improve their competitiveness, drive economic growth, and reduce environmental impacts.


Gaither added to financial firm

Todd Gaither has joined the Chattanooga practice of Kelly & Dutton, of Ameriprise Financial Services Inc., as an associate financial adviser.

His office is located at 7047 Lee Highway Suite 309. He will work to help clients plan for their financial goals through a personal long-term financial planning relationship.

An AFA is a fully licensed adviser who works for a franchisee of Ameriprise Financial to serve clients and grow the business. AFAs help clients identify financial needs and objectives and recommend solutions to help them plan for their goals.


Domeck joins Crye-Leike

After many years spent working in the banking and real estate title industries, Sheryl Torbett Domeck has become a licensed Realtor and joined Crye-Leike's Cleveland, Tenn., branch office.

She joins husband Mike in the business. They will assist buyers and sellers in and around Bradley, Hamilton, McMinn and Polk counties. They specialize in helping clients with all of their residential real estate needs and are members of the River Counties Association of Realtors, the Tennessee Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.


Communication topic for institute

Chattanooga Women's Leadership Institute will present a program entitled Why Women Matter: Colorful Communication as part of its leadership luncheon series May 3.

Held at The Chattanoogan from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., it will feature Gena Ellis, a life coach and educator.

"We have had several requests to host a luncheon that focuses on how to improve communication in the work environment," said Lesley Berryhill, CWLI managing director.

New Solutions Pharmacy opens

Solutions Pharmacy will mark its new location on May 7 at 11 a.m. at 5517 Little Debbie Parkway, according to the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce.

Solutions Pharmacy has been in business for over 50 years as a compounding pharmacy. It is able to compound medications that are no longer available or hard to find, according to the pharmacy.

It specializes in bio-identical hormones, pain management formulations, veterinarian compounds, anti-aging combinations, and also can meet podiatry needs.

Tucker Foundation adds to staff

The Tucker Foundation has added Bradley County native Amy Moore to its staff. Moore, who has more than 20 years experience in both nonprofit and local government, helped secure $1.3 million of grants for the Cleveland/Bradley County Greenway.

"The Tucker Foundation's capacity has increased and improved with the addition of Amy," said Hayne Hamilton, president of the Tucker Foundation.

The foundation was chartered in 1996 by Summerfield K. Johnston Jr. to help Hamilton and Bradley County in the areas of education, environmental conservation, the arts and human services.
