Doctors Express says that Dr. Natasha Ballard and Dr. Lisa Broyles have joined its team of urgent care providers.
Both physicians have longstanding roots in the region, with service in northern Georgia and East Tennessee, and will provide care at all three Chattanooga-area locations.

The American Medical Association Foundation has elected Dr. Edmond B. Cabbabe as president of the board of directors.
“We are excited to have Dr. Cabbabe as the president of the board,” said AMA Foundation Executive Director Steven Churchill. “We look forward to what he will contribute to the AMA Foundation through his expertise in the health care industry and experience in philanthropic endeavors.”
Cabbabe did his general surgery residency in 1974-1978 at the University of Tennessee clinical education center in Chattanooga, which is now the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Chattanooga.
Cabbabe’s first exposure to the AMA Foundation was through a grant he received to provide pro bono tattoo removal of gang-related tattoos to aid in rehabilitating former gang members. His public service involvement also consists of treating children referred by the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund. He is an ardent writer who has contributed to more than 110 articles in both English and Arabic and has received journalistic awards for his work as editor for St. Louis Metropolitan Medicine.
A board-certified plastic surgeon in private group practice in St. Louis, Cabbabe has served on the AMA Governing Council of the International Medical Graduates as an alternate delegate and vice chair and is currently the chair of Missouri delegation to the AMA House of Delegates.
Greg Mende has joined Inova Payroll, formerly Computerized Payroll Solutions, as a sales consultant.
Mende brings more than 15 years of business to business sales in the governmental, health care, industrial and logistics sectors to his new role focusing on helping businesses in the Chattanooga, Cleveland, Tenn., and Dalton, Ga., areas find the optimum payroll services and human resources solutions to meet their needs.
Mende’s sales experience has been primarily in the educational market, working with library directors and acquisitions specialists at public and academic libraries in six states including Tennessee to diversify their collection development efforts through the acquisition of books, DVDs, audiobooks and E-books.
“Greg’s extensive background in both sales and public relations will be key assets in our efforts to create awareness that the former CPS (now Inova Payroll) is still a vibrant payroll solution for hometown businesses of all types here in the Chattanooga metro and surrounding areas,” said Jordan Rush, vice president of sales.
