East Ridge student arrested for carrying weapons to first day of school

An East Ridge High School student is charged with carrying weapons on school property on the first day of classes.

Eric Johnson, 18, was booked at the Hamilton County Jail earlier today.

East Ridge Police tell Channel 3, Johnson was involved in a traffic accident outside the school this morning.
