Family Expo set for Cleveland β€” Aug. 17

The eighth annual Mix 104.1 Family Expo is set for Saturday, Aug. 17, in Cleveland, Tenn. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Cleveland Family YMCA, 220 Urbane Road.

Visitors to the free event will find activities for the whole family, including inflatables, Princess Parlor makeovers, Bagby's Critter Corral Petting Zoo, Haney's Dairy, Rolling Video Games, face painting and a Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency exhibit. A Walt Disney World vacation will also be awarded.

The American Cancer Society will sell food during the event, with all profits benefiting the organization.

The station is taking qualifier calls for a $5,000 cash giveaway to be awarded at the expo.

Station general manager Steve Hartline says the Family Expo "grows every year as we bring activities and entertainment for all age groups." The goal, he says, "is to bring our community together for a great day of family fun."
