How much did President Obama's visit cost Chattanooga Police?

Two weeks after President Barack Obama visited Chattanooga, we're learning how much it cost the Chattanooga Police Department to provide security.

In reply to an open records request, the Chattanooga Police Department released the results of the manpower and cost to the department for the July visit.

The data shows 126 officers, who were already scheduled to work that day, were assigned to detail. An additional 20 officers provided additional coverage.
