People gather for the auction of property and equipment at the Valleybrook Golf and Country Club today.Valleybrook Golf and Country Club sold for $950,000 to Henry Luken during an auction this morning at the course in Hixson.
Luken already owns Montlake, Battlefield and Eagle Bluff golf courses and said he will keep Valleybrook as a golf course.
Others who bid on the property and buildings on the property were Creeks Bend Golf Club owner Buddy Templeton and real estate developer Paul Teruya.
"You buy it, then you decide what to do," Luken said before following the auction of items inside the clubhouse, kitchen, pro shop and the maintenance barn. "I want everybody to come back and see it in the spring."
