A Cleveland burglary victim used Facebook to help recover stolen property valued at $15,000 and put a suspect behind bars.

After finding two trailers at an Old Tasso Road storage facility had been entered, the victim posted descriptions of the stolen property on Facebook along with an offer of a reward, according to a news release from the Bradley County Sheriff's Office.

The victim's social media post brought a response from a Cleveland pawnbroker where some of the stolen items were sold, police said.

On Friday, the victim identified the items, including tools, silver bullion, coins, an air compressor and antiques. The total value of the items was placed at $30,000, according to the release.

Using pawn shop records, detectives identified 54-year-old Gary Wayne Randolph as the person who sold the items to the pawn shop. Randolph was arrested and charged with theft over $10,000 and two counts of burglary.
