Generals homers doom Chattanooga Lookouts, 7-3

JACKSON, Tenn. -- Home-team homers doomed the visiting Chattanooga Lookouts in Southern League baseball Monday night. They lost 7-3 to the Jackson Generals.

Steven Proscia's home run to left field in the seventh inning broke a 3-3 tie and ignited Jackson to a second straight win over Chattanooga. Jabari Blash added a three-run homer to right in the eighth inning for the Generals.

The Lookouts (23-40) took a 1-0 lead in the first inning when Joc Pederson doubled to right and scored on Brian Cavazos-Galvez's single to left, and they went back up 3-2 in the fifth on Jeremy Moore's two-run homer to right.

The five-game series ends tonight, starting at 8:05 EDT. Rob Rasmussen (3-2, 2.48 ERA) is the scheduled starting pitcher for the Lookouts, with Cam Hobson (0-1, 3.00) scheduled for the Generals.
