Emergency crews work the morning accident on Interstate 75 near Dalton.I-75 in Whitfield County has been reopened after southbound lanes were blocked for nearly six hours this morning.
The backup was the result of a multi-vehicle wreck also involving two tractor trailers.
Traffic was previously being diverted at the Rocky Face exit to Highway 41.
Long delays are still expected on the route. Our news partners at WRCB report the traffic backup is almost ten miles long.
