3 men held in Tennessee indicted in Arizona killing

MESA, Ariz. — Three men jailed in Tennessee have been indicted on murder, kidnapping and armed robbery charges in the fatal shooting of an Arizona man.

Mesa police say 22-year-old Zackary Burgess, 18-year-old Brandon Simon and 22-year-old Joseph Holt were indicted Wednesday in the Oct. 31 death of 36-year-old Brian Lee Weathers.

According to police, the three Tennessee men were driving in a vehicle in which evidence linking them to the Arizona killing was found.

Police say the men were arrested on unrelated charges in Tennessee's Cheatham County and await extradition to Arizona.
