I was in Knoxville, Tenn., to see the University of Tennessee Pride of the Southland Band perform their half-time show for parents and friends. In all of the excitement, I dropped my cell phone and did not realize it until later.

My granddaughter called my cell phone, and a very gracious lady responded, saying that she had the phone and would drive back to the stadium to return it to me. I offered her a small reward and begged her to accept it. She said "Oh, no, just pay it forward."

I do not know her name, but my faith in humanity has been restored. I am very grateful.
