Chris Clem

Hamilton County Election Commission attorney Chris Clem resigned from his position this morning.

His resignation becomes effective at the end of the year.

The election commission met this morning to certify the petition to force the Chattanooga City Council to either repeal its approval of expanding benefits to domestic partners of city employees or put the ordinance to a public vote in next year's elections.

Commissioners certified the petition.
