Several offer packages that include dinner and breakfast and a hotel room for the night. Almost all include champagne and party favors. Below is the list of NYE events that we know about.
AMERICAN LEGION POST 95 — 3329 Ringgold Road. New Year’s Eve party with karaoke downstairs and live music upstairs in the meeting hall with The Big Band. $10 cover charge includes hors d’oeuvres, champagne, party favors and access to music starting at 8:30 p.m. 423-624-9105.
BART’S LAKESHORE — 5600 Lake Resort Terrace. BRIX NOUVEAU — 310 Cherokee Blvd. Celebrate the new year with a buffet of Brix Nouveau’s cheeses, meats and accompaniments, as well as a flight of sparkling wines. $75 provides access to the buffet and a half bottle of Veuve Clicquot champagne. 10 p.m.-1 a.m. Prepaid reservations required. BUD’S SPORTS BAR — 5751 Brainerd Road. $15 ticket includes party favors at the door, music by Aunt Betty starting at 10 p.m. and a champagne toast at midnight. Reserved seating for a party of two is $50. Reservations for a party of four are $75. 423-499-9878.
CHATTANOOGA CHOO CHOO IMPERIAL BALLROOM — 1400 Market St. Doors open at 8 p.m. for the annual New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with live music by The Beaters, featuring hits from the ’60s to the ’80s. A cash bar and snacks will be available, and door prizes will be awarded during band breaks. $40 per guest. Dinner/overnight couples packages also available for $260-$360, including a warm-up party at 4 p.m., prime-rib dinner buffet from 5 to 10 p.m., tickets to the concert, overnight accommodations at the Choo Choo and a New Year’s Day brunch. 423-266-5000.
THE CHATTANOOGAN — 1201 S. Broad St. Couples dinner served at Broad Street Grille from 5 to 10 p.m. for $125 per couple; cost includes three-course meal, champagne toast, party favors and an after-dinner party at The Foundry featuring Rick Rushing & The Blues Strangers at 8:30 p.m. Tickets to the party only are $15 and include party favors and champagne toast. DELTA QUEEN — 100 River St. Overnight accommodation/party packages start at $260. HUNTER MUSEUM OF AMERICAN ART — 10 Bluff View Ave. The Hunter’s New Year’s Eve Party on the Bluff begins at 8:30 p.m. and continues through 1 a.m. Tickets are $95 and include dinner, an open bar, live music and one of the best views downtown courtesy of the museum’s perch atop an 80-foot cliff. THE PALMS LOUNGE / THE COCONUT ROOM — 6925 Shallowford Road. Post-dinner Masquerade Ball includes free masks and entertainment by a DJ in the Palms Lounge and a live band in the Coconut Room with a toast at midnight.
