Mike Williams

The East Ridge Fire Department has a new chief.

The city named Shift Commander Mike Williams to lead the department this month, after former Public Safety Director Eddie Phillips retired in August.

Williams has been with the department for 26 years. He took up the chief's position on Dec. 16.
