Hollywog expanding Chattanooga operations

Chattanooga medical device maker Hollywog LLC plans to expand its manufacturing operations, investing $400,000 and creating 22 jobs over the next three years, officials said today.

Hollywog designs, develops and manufactures medical devices for pain management and physical rehabilitation.

The company recently released an innovative wireless remote controlled pain relief device, the WiTouch. The unit uses transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation technology to specifically target lower back pain, officials said in a statement.

Chuck Thomas, Hollywog CEO, said its growth comes from years of investment, innovative product design, and a global distribution network.

The expansion will include new tooling and restructuring of its facilities on Amnicola Highway, according to officials.
