The North Georgia Electric Membership Corporation is offering its support to customers who are rebuilding after the Jan. 30 tornado that struck Gordon and Bartow counties.
Those affected by the storm may visit EMC’s Calhoun office at 1128 Wall St. to privately discuss their situation with a member service specialist, according to a news release.
EMC also has distributed an information packet in those areas hardest hit by the storm. The packet includes information on how to replace important documents, such as birth certificates, drivers licenses and passports.
If your home was damaged, call the EMC help line, 706-272-7510, for assistance with reconnecting electric service.
