'Opera's Greatest Love Songs & Duets'

Chattanooga Symphony & Opera will speak the language of love in the next concert in the Volkswagen Chattanooga Sunday Series. "Amor: Opera's Greatest Love Songs & Duets" will be presented at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, in the VW Conference Center, 7351 Volkswagen Drive.

The featured guest artists are Chery Brendel, Rosella Ewing, Brett Hyberger and Daniel Weeks.

Bookending the concert are Mozart's "Overture to Die Zauberflöte (The Magic Flute)" and Wagner's "Overture to Tannhäuser." In between will be selections from Puccini's "La Boheme," Rossini's "Don Giovanni," Verdi's "Rigoletto" and Saint-Saens' "Samson et Dalila."

Thematic works from composers Delibes, Bizet, Glinka and Mascagni also will be featured.
