Pedestrian killed on I-24; police seek driver

NASHVILLE - Police say they are seeking a driver who hit a pedestrian on Interstate 24 and drove away.

Police said in a statement that they haven't yet identified the man who was struck by two separate cars around 3 a.m. on Saturday while trying to cross the highway. The man died at the scene.

Police say the first driver stopped at the scene and no charges against her were anticipated. Police say the second driver, who was behind the wheel of a silver car, did not stop. They are searching for the driver of that vehicle, which they believe to be a 2003 to 2007 model Infiniti G35.
