Five arrested in Jackson County, Ala., drug bust

Five people were arrested Friday and charged with various drug-related offenses after Jackson County and Stevenson, Ala., authorities raided a trailer and another residence, a news release states.

Members of the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office narcotics unit, criminal investigators and Stevenson police went to the trailer on County Road 137 in Stevenson. Once there they found probable cause for a search warrant for the trailer, authorities said. That search revealed a laboratory, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, marijuana and synthetic canabanoids.

The drugs were seized and four people arrested.

Lacy Erin Parnell, 25, of Stevenson, was charged with unlawful manufacture of controlled substances 1st degree, unlawful possession of controlled substances (meth), possession of marijuana 2nd degree, unlawful possession of synthetic canabiniods and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the news release. She remains in custody on $18,500 bond.

Heather Nicole Wilson, 22, of Fackler, Ala., was charged with unlawful manufacture of controlled substances 1st degree, unlawful possession of controlled substances (meth), possession of marijuana 2nd degree, unlawful possession of synthetic canabiniods, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She posted an $18,500 bond and was released.

Wanda Annette Dunn, 19, of Guntersville, Ala., was charged with unlawful manufacture of controlled substances 1st degree, unlawful possession of controlled substances (meth), possession of marijuana 2nd degree, unlawful possession of synthetic canabiniods and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released after posting $18,500 bond, authorities said.

Justin Wayne Carver, 25, of Fackler, was charged with unlawful manufacture of controlled substances 1st degree, unlawful possession of controlled substances (meth), possession of marijuana 2nd degree, unlawful possession of synthetic canabiniods and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on an $18,500 bond.

During the trailer search, investigators searched a second residence in front of it and found marijana and drug paraphernalia, the news release states. As a result of that search, Larry Daniel Brown of Stevenson, 65, owner of the trailer, was charged with unlawful manufacture of controlled substances 1st degree, possession of marijuana 2nd degree and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Brown was released after posting $11,000 bond, authorities said.
