A touring production of "Soul to Soul" will stop Tuesday, Feb. 11, at Southern Adventist University in Collegedale. Subtitled "Yiddish and African-American Music Meet in a Celebration of Two Cultures," the musical will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Iles P.E. Center on campus, 4881 Taylor Circle.

Created and directed by Zalmen Mlotek, artistic director at the National Yiddish Theatre-Folksbiene, "Soul to Soul" features Broadway veteran Elmore James, singer/actor Tony Perry and Israeli singer Magda Fishman.

Through their musical performances, audiences learn the connections between African-American and Yiddish music and gain insight into the struggle for freedom found in each culture's experience.

Tickets will be available at the door. Cost is $10 for adults, $20 for families.
