'Vagina Monologues' at Barking Legs

Four presentations of Eve Ensler's "The Vagina Monologues" are scheduled through Sunday, Feb.17, at Barking Legs Theater, 1307 Dodds Ave.

The production is presented as an episodic play in which various women speak on different aspects of the feminine experience, touching on matters as diverse as sex, love, birth and rape.

The local production is presented by CoPAC in observance of International V-Day, a global movement to end violence against women and girls.

Hope Alexander directs the local cast of 13. Choreography is by Ann Law.

Shows will start at 8 p.m. today through Saturday, Feb. 15-16, and at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17.

Tickets are $15 adults, $10 students and seniors over 65. Proceeds benefit Chattanooga Room in the Inn, which provides services to homeless women and children.
