THINGS I WISH MY KIDS WOULD ASK ME

EDITOR'S NOTE: Barry Courter has a 23-year-old son who graduated from college last year and a 19-year-old daughter who is a freshman in college.

Q: Dad, when it is time to panic?

A: Probably never, if you can help it. I know you are talking about school and the future. It's good to plan for contingencies, like things not going well, but worrying about next year to the point of missing what is happening now is silly.
