Bonnaroo announces 2013 lineup

Update: The lineup for the 2013 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, set for June 13-16 in Manchester, Tenn., was announced this afternoon on Youtube.com by comedian/musician Weird Al Yankovic. Among the acts that have been announced so far are Pretty Lights, Wilco, The XX, Macklemore, Passion Pit, Of Monsters and Men, Billy Idol, Mumford & Sons, David Byrne, St. Vincent and My Morning Jacket frontman Jim James, Gov't Mule, Grizzly Bear, Porter Robinson, Stepkids, Beach House, Gaslight Anthem, Local Natives, The National, Dwight Yoakum, Death Grips, R. Kelly, Portugal The Man, Nas, The Sheepdogs, Bjork, Tallest Man on Earth, Paul McCartney, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers and Weird Al Yankovic.

The first Bonnaroo festival held in 2002 sold out without a penny spent on advertising or marketing. Everything was done through the then fairly new social media sites like Facebook and Twitter.

The festival was named one of the "50 Moments That Changed Rock & Roll" by Rolling Stone magazine.
