It's been a busy week for Rossville's Lauren Alaina. The rising country star taped an episode with Food Network queen Paula Deen on Monday night in Savannah, Ga.

Deen tweeted a picture of the two Georgia belles laughing and said: "Lauren Alaina was on set yesterday and we couldn't stop cuttin' up together!"

On Friday, Alaina will sing at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville at 7 p.m. CST. Tickets are $25-$57. Also on the show, according to the Opry's website, are The Steeldrivers, Joe Diffie, Edens Edge, Riders in the Sky, and Old Crow Medicine Show.

Fans can meet Lauren at the Country Music Hall of Fame on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. CST, signing copies of her CD, "Wildflower." The museum is located at 222 Fifth Ave. South in Nashville. It's open until 5 p.m. and tickets are $24 adults and $17 ages 6-17.

The singer rounds out her weekend in Nashville with the taping of a new interactive cooking series and webcast that is taking place at the Ryman Auditorium. "Sing For Your Supper with Bob Waggoner" will feature the executive chef at The Watermark in Music City, a popular restaurant frequently featured on the ABC drama "Nashville."

Each episode will feature a music star and their special guest, a sommelier and a "guest chef" chosen from the 60-member audience. Waggoner will teach the audience chef how to prepare a French-influenced, Southern entrée, then the audience chef will present their dish to the musical guest, who will "sing for their supper."

Alaina will tape the show Saturday at 7:15 p.m. CST. Tickets are free. "Sing For Your Supper" will air on PBS affiliates around the nation beginning this fall.
