The Marion County Rescue team and Sheriff's Office recovered a body from the Tennessee River on Saturday afternoon.
Two fishermen discovered the body of a man near Raccoon Mountain about 1 p.m. and called for help.
A Marion County dispatcher could not say Saturday night whether the body had been identified, or how long the person had been dead. The body was sent to Nashville for an autopsy.
Sheriff Bo Burnett told WRCB-Channel 3 that the man was in his 20s and possibly from Hamilton County.
